About Canvas Art
All canvas purchases made at CanvasGalleryArt.com are hand crafted by our professional canvas experts. The canvas art we ship from our facility is specially made for each order that is placed. We use high quality equipment and materials to ensure customer satisfaction.
The first step we take in putting art on canvas is heat pressing or printing a single art piece directly onto the canvas. When the print is permanent on the canvas, it is then stretched around wooden hand crafted canvas bars. Click here for instructions on how to hang canvas art.
Gallery Wrap Method
When an art print is put on canvas using the gallery wrap method, the sides of the print wrap slightly around the canvas
bars. This way of wrapping a canvas creates a 3-D or gallery like look. This method is good for larger art pieces or artwork that has one
Museum Wrap Method
Using the museum wrap method to put artwork on canvas
is where the image stops at the edge. With museum wrapped art on canvas, the image is shown on the front of the canvas, the sides are generally
white or can be painted any of the colors we offer.
Two Bar Depths
Customizing the depth of the canvas is available whether you choose
the gallery wrap or museum wrap method. At CanvasGalleryArt.com, we offer the depth of the canvas bars to be .75 inches, this is the default size.
We also offer 1.5 inches for canvas depth as well. 1.5 inch bars tend to be more study due to the fact that they are thicker.
Paintings on canvas can really compliment the piece
and even make it look more like the original. A clear, acrylic gel is brushed onto the canvas when the brushstrokes option is selected. Our
professional brushstroke artists natural strokes on the piece to help recreate the look of the original. At CanvasGalleryArt.com we offer
standard brushstrokes as well as heavy brushstrokes. As shown below, standard brushstrokes get a thin layer of gel applied to the canvas. Heavy brushstrokes get a thicker layer
of the gel, this adds more texture to the piece if desired.

It is hard to choose between a frame and canvas when both look
so great with the selected print....why not choose both? CanvasGalleryArt.com offers a framed canvas finish for those prints that just don't look complete
with simply one finish. For the framed canvas finish, the artwork is printed or heated onto the canvas, museum wrapped to canvas bars, then framed for
the perfect finishing touch. With framed canvas art, the canvas thickness is automatically chosen based on the thickness of the. Putting art on canvas and
framing it adds dimension and depth to ordinary frame or canvas art.
Canvas Print Option
Our canvas print option is the unstretched version of your desired canvas print. For this option, the artwork is printed on or laminated to a large off-white canvas.
There is excess canvas space around each side of the print. This space is for if the canvas will be around the bars by you. This option is best for customers or businesses
that possess the specialized machinery to stretch the canvas. When you choose this canvas print option, it comes with just the artwork on an unstretched canvas. The box will
