Specifically looking the piece of golden art in a frame entitled “Gold Lions,” we can observe a sense of power and majesty being projected. Truly, as the church believed it was the emissary of God on earth, it makes wonderful sense that the artwork produced by this institution would have a sense of great power. Such art would give of this sense of power regardless of where it was placed.
Truly, gold is much more than a colour, it is a motif. It is a theme that presents itself through art. And when this theme presents itself, it creates a powerful image that will stick in the mind of anyone who observes it.
